Gear is important, but the story behind is what makes the real difference.
To win our contest you don't need any special gear,
resolution or design.
We want really compelling, intriguing & engaging stories. We are not pixel-counters.
You can apply with literally any story that you made or captured.
What is a
StoryFest?
The StoryFest is a web contest that Golden Duck Gallery launched to support digital video creators that make short videos online.
Concept
Only videos that are already online can take part in the contest.
After you submitted the video, we repost your video and tag you as the creator. We do not act as publishers and do not claim any form of ownership over your content.
After a certain date the submission closes, and the jury picks the winners of special prizes.
The amount of likes on our page defines the winners of public awards.

We repost all the videos that do not violate our rules and tag the creators. This is how you can become even more popular and your story will be heard even more widely.

In order to support online art, we give out money prizes for your creations. Gain some money along with all the exposure you get!

This is not another contest where professionals always win. We would like to prize stories and the way they are presented, not the quality of sound, video or editing.

How to submit?
It is easy, believe me. Just follow these steps below and you will definitely succeed!

Upload your created video to any of your personal social media accounts.
Make sure it is public, freely accessible and repost-ready.
2.
Copy the link of your video.
3.
Click the submit button on this page. Pay the $9 submission fee, and download the PDF file with the link to submission form.
4.
On the submission page, fill in the necessary information and provide the link to the video. Click Submit and you're done!
The video/videos submitted should be already uploaded to one of these social media platforms: TikTok, Instagram, Youtube Shorts, or X.
The videos should be public and visible for all users.
The videos should not violate any rules of social media platforms they are published on.
The videos should be free to repost without restrictions.
We do not accept videos that are created for children only or are regulated as child-specific content.
To participate, you should be at least 13 years of age and you will need a bank account in order to collect your award if you win one.

- Scenes or stories of severe violence
- Extreme sexual content and abuse
- Hate Speech
- Political or Religious intolerance
- Self-harm and suicide
- Alcohol, drugs and other substance abuse

Yes, we do collect some personal data. No, we are not scammers.
We do not sell any collected data to third-party companies.
We will need your name and some contact information to verify you are a legit person when the videos are juried.
We store the information securely and do not give your personal data out.
We never ask any money, especially outside of the website or in exchange for the award, so the award-winning is absolutely free for you, as well as the submission this time.
