Diving into art
In 2022, we started the Golden Duck Gallery - an art space dedicated to show the world how many great artists are out there. Our incredible journey got us really far and fast. We have made physical shows all across Europe, held international art shows on our walls and even exhibited in New York!
The Golden Duck Gallery has a mission. We would like the artists to be heard and seen the way they deserve. We want to give their art the treatment, the caring and recognition they will never get in other places.
See, the problem is that the art martket is veeery conservative. The people believe that only the expensive and well-known art deserves to be sold and admired. This is great for the investors, but a terrible mindset for the art itself. If we deny art of exposure and recognition, it will stop developing. This should be obvious, but we feel it is not.
This is why we started the Golden Duck Gallery as an art space. It means we are not just a venue for selling art. We are a community that helps to grow, that inspires, protects and develops. We believe that has worked, so we are proud to present you the results of our 2024 season:

Chapter II.
Starting the Golden Duck Gallery arose a lot of concerns, but we never thought that we will ever grow that big we start running out of our own walls! This is our second gallery, the SORS Gallery came to life. The SORS Gallery has a slightly different purpose.
While the Golden Duck is home to large-scale collective shows, the SORS Gallery features fewer artists with larger amounts of artworks per capita inside one show. This way, the SORS Gallery can host up to 4 personal exhibitions at a time, without any interference.
Along with personal shows, the SORS Gallery features a lot of different other art activities, like master-classes, workshops and art classes of different authors. This way the gallery also started to build its own community of art enthusiasts and professionals who love this place for it being cozy and comfortable, with all facilities they will ever need.
The end result is great, as we can feature some artists exclusively in Hungary and Europe, offering a unique experience for both our collectors & artists.
The SORS Gallery is also part of our art residency program, where the artists can come to Budapest for a couple of weeks, create their art locally and showcase their art in the SORS Gallery. Again, this is very convenient, as in two weeks time it is hard to create the amount of art that can totally fill up a larger gallery like the Golden Duck, while SORS features separate halls for this particular purpose.
